Precision Tint & Auto Accessories

Family-owned since 1986

Jay & Tish Carroll.

Two people who started a shop on Fort Riley Blvd four decades ago and have been there ever since. Most of our customers come back. A lot of them are now bringing in vehicles for their kids.

The shop

Precision Tint opened on Fort Riley Blvd in 1986. Reagan was president, the F-150 was on its 7th generation, and window film was still made from dyed polyester that fell apart in a Kansas summer. Jay and Tish started the business that year, and they're still the ones answering the phone today.

The shop has grown. We've added paint protection film, ceramic coating, audio installs, remote starts, and roughly everything else that bolts to the inside or outside of a vehicle. But the work itself hasn't changed: do it right the first time, stand behind it for the life of the customer, and don't sell anyone a tier they don't need.

Fort Riley Blvd sees 55,000 cars a day. We've watched generations roll through — soldiers stationed at the base, families settling in Manhattan, K-Staters getting their first car, the same trucks coming back for a refresh ten years later. It's a warm, fuzzy job. We build relationships and treat every client like family because that's what they've all become.
